Why I Won’t Love

I won’t love because I can’t love.

No matter how hard I struggle, no matter how many warm feelings I work up, I can never love others consistently. I can’t even love my Saviour as I should (and Who else is more worthy of my heart?). I have trouble loving those dearest to me; often it takes a crisis to break down the walls of my heart and let the love flow.

So how can I love others as I love myself? How can I ever love others as He loves them?

I can’t. And praise God I can’t!

We have never been able to fulfil God’s commands through our own strength. From Adam onward we fail time and time again. The Third & the Seventh

The Third  & the Seventh is a short architectural film by Alex Roman and one of my favourite works of art. I wanted to share it with you; Roman’s films are breathtakingly beautiful. What’s really mind blowing about The Third & the Seventh is that every element of the film is computer generated. Nothing is real. It is a journey into Roman’s imagination.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! 🙂

House Cleaning

Here’s a link to a very timely prophetic word that the Lord spoke through Glynda Linkous. The Lord has definitely been speaking to me and those around me that it’s time to get right and start walking straight. We have to get rid of anything standing between us and our Lord.

As always, seek the Lord on all words and be blessed! 🙂

it is not WHAT you know but WHO you know.

This is a foundational truth. Nevertheless, so many of us fail to see how the world’s way of thinking contaminates our walk. We study the Scriptures much more than we allow them to transform us. We gather knowledge of all manner of Bible-related things, be it hermeneutics or historical facts. Like the Pharisees, we know the Scriptures like the backs of our hands yet the Author remains a stranger.

We eat constantly from the Tree of Knowledge and very little from the Tree of Life.
