I’ve been missing in action for awhile but I’m hoping to get some posts up in the next several days. For now, here’s another fantastic word through Glynda Linkous. Our Lord is coming soon!

Me, Myself & I

Hi! I'm one of God's kids living Down Under. For a long time I have wondered how God would use the love of writing He has given me. This blog is just a small way in which I hope to be used by Him to encourage and build up the people He brings here. God willing, I will be sharing insights He has given me directly or through others. As always, test everything you read here because I certainly make mistakes! May you be encouraged and blessed! God be with you my dear brothers and sisters! All glory to our wonderful Father :)

How Can I Be Saved?

First off you have to know who you are and who God is. You must realise that you have willfully done wrong, rebelled against your Creator and that no amount of good deeds will be able to erase those wrongs. You must realise that God is justified and fair in condemning you (Romans 3:23). Without a saviour you are eternally lost (Matthew 25:46).

Now this where Jesus Christ comes in. God loves you; He takes no delight in condemning you (Ezekiel 18:23). He loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son to come in the flesh to die for you before you even knew or cared about Him (John 3:16). His Son, Jesus Christ, is the only One perfect enough to stand in your place and take your due punishment (Romans 6:23). He died and now all who trust in Him and accept His death on their behalf share in His resurrection spiritually and one day physically as well. Yet not only do we accept His death but we share in it by laying down our own will for His (Romans 8:17). If you trust and remain in Him you will be a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

You must realise following Christ is not just talk; it's a daily walk. It's a lifelong relationship. You must remain in Him; He must be LORD of your heart and you must turn your back on all sinful and follow Him (Luke 9:23). Light cannot be with darkness. You may make mistakes but if you confess your sin He promises to forgive you (1 John 1:9). He will make you ever more like Him (Romans 8:29) and He will never leave you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him and He will be faithful to save you. Love Him with all your heart (Luke 10:27); He is absolutely worthy!

There is one God and only one Way (John 14:6). Cry out to Him, seek Him and He will meet you! (James 4:8) Many blessings in Him :)
